The Second International Conference on Smart Mobility Systems (ICSMS 2026) was successfully organized by the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) at Osmania University, Hyderabad. The conference brought together researchers, academicians, engineers, and industry professionals to share ideas, research findings, and technological developments in smart mobility and intelligent transportation systems.
The conference featured keynote addresses by distinguished experts, tutorials, and technical paper presentations, providing a platform for meaningful academic and professional exchange. The event covered emerging areas including electric vehicles, IoT in transportation, AI and machine learning, intelligent transportation systems, vehicle safety, automated driving systems, transportation data analytics, and smart mobility solutions.
ICSMS 2026 received 278 research paper submissions from Indian authors as well as researchers from across the globe. Each paper underwent a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic quality and relevance. Following the review and selection process, only 23 of the best papers were selected and uploaded to Springer for publication, with rate of acceptance 12% reflecting the conference’s commitment to high-quality research and scholarly contribution.

ICSMS-2025
ICSMS 2025 received 311 research paper submissions from five different countries, reflecting strong international participation. After a rigorous peer-review process, 33 papers were accepted, and the publication process is currently underway with Springer, resulting in an acceptance rate of 10.6%, highlighting the conference’s high academic standards. Four best papers were recognized with awards, and certificates were issued to paper presenters, registered participants, and reviewers. Dr. Jyotsna Kumar Mandal, Zonal Mentor (East) and Governing Council Member of IETE, served as the Corresponding Editor for Springer Nature for ICSMS 2025. The conference featured eminent and distinguished speakers including Dr. V. K. Saraswat, Prof. K. K. Agarwal, Mr. Ramin Massoumi, Vice Admiral Sreekumar Nair, Maj. Gen. R. R. Tiwari, Dr. Nilesh M.
