IETE's Second International Conference on Smart Mobility Systems (ICSMS 2026), organized by
The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) at their New
Delhi headquarters, will offer a valuable platform for researchers, engineers, and
industry professionals to collaborate and exchange ideas. ICSMS 2026 will focus
on intelligent transportation systems and cutting-edge technologies such as electric
vehicles (EVs), security in ITS, IoT in transportation, human-centric AI, driving
data analytics, and driver behavior analysis for decision-making. The conference
will cover a broad range of topics, including machine and deep learning in ITS,
management of road, air, water, and rail transportation, vehicle safety systems,
driver and traveler support systems, Automated Driving System (ADS) assistance,
social transportation, intelligent mobility, and smart transportation solutions.
The conference will feature:
- Keynote addresses from industry and academic leaders.
- Tutorials for participants and students.
- Paper presentations, with awards for the best papers.
The International Conference on Smart Mobility Systems (ICSMS 2025) was successfully organized by The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) at its New Delhi Headquarters during 22 and 26–27 April 2025. The conference witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 300 paper submissions from researchers and professionals worldwide. Following a rigorous peer-review process, 53 high-quality papers were selected for publication, reflecting the conference’s strong academic standards and its contribution to advancing research in smart mobility systems.

About ICSMS 2025
ICSMS 2025 received 311 research paper submissions from five different countries, reflecting strong international participation. After a rigorous peer-review process, 33 papers were accepted, and the publication process is currently underway with Springer, resulting in an acceptance rate of 10.6%, highlighting the conference’s high academic standards. Four best papers were recognized with awards, and certificates were issued to paper presenters, registered participants, and reviewers. Dr. Jyotsna Kumar Mandal, Zonal Mentor (East) and Governing Council Member of IETE, served as the Corresponding Editor for Springer Nature for ICSMS 2025. The conference featured eminent and distinguished speakers including Dr. V. K. Saraswat, Prof. K. K. Agarwal, Mr. Ramin Massoumi, Vice Admiral Sreekumar Nair, Maj. Gen. R. R. Tiwari, Dr. Nilesh M. Desai, Shri Sudhendu J. Sinha, Lt. Gen. M. U. Nair, Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Verma, Dr. N. Vijayan, and Prof. P. K. Sarkar, making ICSMS 2025 a highly impactful and prestigious academic event.
